Wild West Campout 2025

This is a campout organised by the Frome group of Narcotics Anonymous. It is a chance to spend time with other addicts in an atmosphere of recovery. We have the whole campsite to ourselves.

Location
Seven Acres campsite is just outside Frome. It has a large area for tents where we will be having the main campout. There is also hard standing for 16 campervans. Showers and toilets on site.

Camping
Large level field for tents where we will also have the fire and fun & games. There are 16 campervan pitches available on a first come, first served basis.

Food
You provide your own food. You will be able to cook on the campfire and we are also providing two large bbqs to have a bbq on Saturday night. Bring whatever you want to cook on the bbq and we will cook it. You can use your own bbq as long as you do not burn the grass (put it on a breeze block). There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket about two miles away and Frome has lots of good independent food shops.

Fun
The programme is subject to change, but expect a mix of country walks, campfire meetings, meditation, sound bath, school sports day games, whittling (pls bring own knife). If you want to suggest something, get in touch.

Car Parking
Parking is limited at the event so please try and share cars – the more addicts per car the better.

Costs
The weekend costs £25 per head, children are £10 per head. Campervans are £20 extra for the event and you get an electric hookup. You can buy on here or give cash to Bill F.
